Starter, main course, dessert! Find your unique menu with Exquisa cream cheese!

Ingredients (for 4 People)

  • 500g Exquisa fromage frais natural
  • 120g soft (plantbased) butter
  • 80g sugar
  • 1 pck vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250g wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200ml (plantbased) milk
  • 1 bio lemon
  • 1 pck vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp (plantbased) milk
  • 5 tbsp jam, i.e. strawberry jam
  • berries per choice, i.e. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries
  • mint leaves
  • powdered sugar
  • oil or margarine to grease the waffle iron

Preparation

  • Mix the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the eggs. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Add the flour mixture and milk alternately to the butter and egg mixture. Mix until a homogeneous batter has formed.
  • Now grease and preheat the waffle iron. When the waffle iron is hot enough, pour in 2 tbsp of batter. Bake the waffles one after the other until golden.
  • For the filling: whisk the Exquisa QuarkCreme Natur, lemon juice, vanilla sugar and milk until creamy. Cut the strawberries into slices.
  • To serve, divide the waffles into hearts. Place 1 tbsp of filling on half of each heart. Top with 1 small teaspoon of jam (as required). Then arrange the strawberries on top and cover with a waffle heart. Decorate with mint leaves and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
